NOTICE

This gentle practice is an invitation to pause and connect with yourself in whatever way feels possible today.

There’s no right way to do this, all your experiences and feelings are welcome, whether you’re feeling spacious or tender, comfortable or in discomfort, everything you bring is enough. We’ll explore what it might feel like to be a kind companion to ourselves, becoming a good friend to ourselves, not by doing or fixing, but by noticing, softening, and being present with care.

Movements and sensations might be subtle, or simply imagined. You’re encouraged to listen to your body’s needs and adapt as you go, eyes may be open, closed or a gentle gaze. If at any point resting, lying down, or simply observing feels best, that is the practice.

Let’s begin by arriving gently, whatever that means for you in this moment, and offering yourself a small gesture of kindness, like you would to someone you deeply care about. Find somewhere quiet and create a space where you can feel settled, cosy and held. You may want to bring in cushions, a blanket, anything that brings a sense of holding space for you.
